If you want to know the deal with the 2021 Saskatchewan federal election predictions, you’ve come to the right place. Canada votes in its 44th election on September 20.
With a Saskatchewan-born leader at the helm, Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives swept all 14 ridings in the province in the 2019 election. This came with a whopping 64 percent of the vote, second only to Alberta for CPC success. The NDP were the second-place party in Saskatchewan with 19.6 percent, while the Liberals were well behind with 11.7 percent. A lot of those red votes came in Regina-Wascana as Ralph Goodale, a Liberal stalwart and cabinet minister to both Jean Chrétien and Justin Trudeau, finally succumbed to the province’s conservative lean after years of targeting.
Will the Conservatives sweep the board again in 2021 or will another party break through?
